In this system, the input current of the system is connected to primary windings and the output is received through secondary windings. Electromagnetic relays are activated when there is a drop in incoming voltage and that adds to the more number of turns in the secondary winding. This provides higher voltage compensate for the drop or loss in the voltage output. The reverse process happens when there is a rise in incoming voltage. Thus, the output voltage stays almost unchanged.
